My Bad

It has been way to long since I posted a new baby on my blog. I have been so busy creating new reborns, listing them on ebay, developing my Facebook Fan Page and website, I have ignored this blog.

I promise to do better!

I have also been listing babies in my pre-owned doll shop on ebay. If you have not gone there yet, please check it out: mommab-dolls is the ebay id for that shop.

A good friend of mine who is a major reborn doll collector had decided to reduce their collection for personal reasons. I have taken this amazing treasure trove of babies from some amazing artists (including some of mine as well) and have begun listing them in my shop.

Check back often as I will be listing my new creations as well as some of the pre-owned dolls as well.

Sandy Faber's Marley Marie - Beautiful!

I have been waiting for this kit from Sandy Faber since January. When the kit finally arrived, I could not put it down. The result: Marley Marie, she is so sweet and I'm not sure if I really want to sell her. Only 300 of these sculpts were produced and it is the first kit doll Sandy Faber has created. New Petra Lechner Sculpt - Gotta Love Him!!!

All I can say is WOW! The email and phone calls about this little guy have been amazing. Fabrizio is a brand new sculpt from Petra and boy is he cute!

He actually reached reserve within a few hours after I listed him last night and there are a whole bunch of people who it seem really want him.

I love it when my babies cause a stir like this. It really makes me feel like my artwork is appreciated and helps fuel my passion for these beautiful babies that mean so much to so many people.

My Independance Day Baby

Hi All!

Hope you had a great 4th of July. Our weather was terrible last night and most of the outdoor celebrations and fireworks were cancelled.

It did give me time to get this Finn doll by Linda Scherer completed and photographed. This is the first time I have reborned a Finn kit so hope you love her!

She is 5 lb., 14 oz. and 20 inches long. From the first time I saw the Finn kit on Pre-order I was in love with the face. I am so happy with the way Alexis turned out...considering I was making a boy when I started this doll! Oh well....just like a real birth...sometimes you get a big suprise!

I want to personally thank all of the many wonderful people who have adopted my dolls all over the world. I could not be the success I am without your support. The kind, wonderful and inspiring stories that you have shared with me has truly touched my heart and has been the driving force behind my nursery and my desire and willingness to create the very best reborn for that special mom who is still waiting to adopt a precious little one to love and hold.

My Latest Sweetie!

This is Missy. She is a Lee Middleton Lil' Peanut. She will be listed on eBay tonight at about 9 pm.

I am still trying to learn how to use my blog. This is all new to me. I am looking forward to posting info on here and looking at the comments.

First Time!

OK, so here I go. I have no idea what a blog is but my husband says I need one of these.
